The lift takes you directly to the Zillertal 3000 ski area (biggest in Europe). In 25 minutes by car you can get to the Hintertux glacier (year-round skiing). The valley, the Ahornbahn and other cable cars are 25-30 minutes away by car. The pedestrian zone of Mayrhofen, where you can also find après-ski bars, is a 10-minute drive (7.6 km) away. In winter there is also a Christmas market.
