Only a 50 mins drive will take you to the Vulcano - Mount Teide, and just an hour drive to the fabulous Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz. The town of Cristianos is a fishing village with some lovely fish restaurants and tapas bars. The sandy beaches are kept to the highest standard and are very safe for children.
